EARLY YEARS PUPIL PREMIUM (EYPP)

The early years pupil premium (EYPP) gives providers of early years education extra funding to support disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-olds.

Early Years Pupil Premium is received in three blocks per child each term on a pro rata basis from the census point that a child joins the pre-school.

Funding received to date during the academic year 2023/24 is as follows:

  • Autumn 2023 – £711.90
  • Spring 2024 – £1,237.32

Early Years Pupil Premium funds are spent with the following aims in mind:

  • To close the attainment gap and accelerate progress
  • To provide experiences that enhance and enrich children’s learning

 

In the academic year 2023/24 Early Years Pupil Premium has been spent as follows:

We have brought resources to support the development of communication and language, personal, social and emotional development and maths skills.  The funding is also spent on additional support in the room and we also have a dance and movement class every week from Kinecroft Academy of Dance – Welcome – Kinecroft Academy of Dance.
