The early years pupil premium (EYPP) gives providers of early years education extra funding to support disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-olds.

Early Years Pupil Premium is received in three blocks per child each term on a pro rata basis from the census point that a child joins the pre-school.


Funding received to date during the academic year 2017/2018 was as follows:

  • Autumn 2017 – £0
  • Spring 2018 – £660.00
  • Summer 2018 – £888.00


Early Years Pupil Premium funds are spent with the following aims in mind:


  • To close the attainment gap and accelerate progress
  • To provide experiences that enhance and enrich children’s learning
