Our World Book Day today was a great success!

We started the day talking about our costumes and our favourite bedtime stories. Then, we spent lots of time reading pre-school books with the adults and friends in our book corner. We also made some drawings of people we would love to share our books with and ‘A Magic Hand’ craft – the children decorated their own handprint pictures using collage materials and ‘magic dust’ (glitter). They told everyone about their special magic powers to do good. The older children worked as a team and created their own story about Goldilocks using small world figures while everyone took part in acting out the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.

South Moreton Pre-School has a brand new website!

We wanted to create a space that was easier for both new and existing parents to find the information they need. Working closely with Mooloo Media we’ve taken the content from our existing site and made it friendlier, easier to digest and better organized.

A great new feature is the Calendar where you can keep track of term dates and important events, which you can subscribe to connecting it with all popular calendar applications.

We’ve also sorted out all of our documents into a well-presented format, including our Policies and Procedures, our Newsletters and our Registration Forms.

Soon, we’ll be adding a staff area so that our staff can securely access key information through a staff portal.
